Bold digits are the day’s and never change. Yours are purple: nothing is checked while you play. A gold digit came from a hint. Solve the grid and yours turn green.

Each grid has a target time, 1:40 to 2:45 by how hard it is. Under 0.7 of it is worth 100, the target 52. A hint costs 12, up to 3 a day.
